DanceOutHK is founded by Kuan-Yu Chen, Gil Khan Ravago, and Jethro Pioquinto in 2013 in Hong Kong. Their works have been presented in Guangxi Modern Dance Festival 2012 ("Inner Maze"), Shenzhen Fringe Festival 2013 (“The Raw Project”), 2014 (“In Transit”), & 2015 ("The Satellite Movement"), Hong Kong People’s Fringe Festival 2014 (“Augmented Reality”) and three evening length performances (“The Raw Project” and “Mapped Out”) in Hong Kong organized by the founders. They have also brought in guest artists: Quan Juan, Marah Arcilla, Chuck Rebearth, Yi-Ting Ho, and John Phillip Martir over the past three years to share their work and inspiration in various performances.
